On 31 October 2019, Robinhood posted an update announcing Robinhood Crypto in eight more US states. The image attached showed two phone screens for a coin called HOODIECOIN, ticker HOC, priced at $10,149.94.

In July 2026 Robinhood Chain went live. $HOC is now deployed on it, paired with $HOOD. The name and ticker are Robinhood's. The coin is ours.
